Islamic basics for kids — questions & answers
Short, clear answers to the first questions every Muslim child should know — about Allah, our Prophet ﷺ, the Qur’an, Salah and good manners. Every answer comes with its proof: the Qur’an first, then an authentic hadith, or simple reasoning.
Only points on which all Muslims agree are included here. The Arabic of every verse is taken from the Qur’an text word for word, and every hadith reference (Bukhari, Muslim and others) has been checked by its number.

How to teach these questions
A few at a time
Teach two or three questions a day. Read the question, say the short answer together, then read the proof in your own language.
Ask and listen
Tap “Ask me”: the question appears big on the screen. Let your child answer, show the answer, and tap “I knew it” or “Not yet”.
See the progress
Every question your child knows is counted. Open “My child’s progress” to see the Qaida, the Qur’an, duas and these questions in one report — and send it to the family on WhatsApp.
Learn with a teacher, one to one
In our live classes, teachers explain these basics with stories from the Qur’an and Seerah, alongside Qaida, Qur’an and duas — book a free trial.
