    Intention and Bismillah

    Step one: make the intention in your heart to make wudu for Allah, and say the Bismillah.

    Hands

    Step two: wash both hands up to the wrists, three times, and let the water run between the fingers.

    Mouth

    Step three: rinse your mouth three times. Use a miswak, or clean your teeth with a finger, if you can.

    Step four: sniff water into your nose with the right hand, and blow it out with the left, three times.

    Step five: wash your whole face three times, from the hairline to below the chin, and from one ear to the other.

    Step six: wash the right arm from the fingertips up to and including the elbow, three times. Then wash the left arm.

    Step seven: wet your hands, and wipe over your head once, from the front to the back.

    Step eight: wipe inside your ears with the index fingers, and behind them with the thumbs.

    Step ten: wash the right foot up to and including the ankle, three times, cleaning between the toes with the little finger. Then wash the left foot.
